Forevermark - The Center of My Universe

Now, most jewelry commercials can get rather cheesy, cliche, and flat out boring, but the first time I saw a Forevermark diamond commercial I've gotta admit...it got me. It was probably the hopeless romantic inside of me, but it definitely struck a note in my heart.

Forevermark is known for its promise: the promise that "each Forevermark diamond is beautiful,
rare and responsibly sourced." Forevermark's website in itself reflects what they are all about--class, elegance, beauty--everything a woman wishes to have and embody. The tagline is short and sweet: "The diamond. The promise." Put the two together and you have a lasting relationship full of stability and love...and Forevermark diamonds (diamonds are a girl's best friend, remember?).

Now, in the commercial itself, Forevermark latches on to the heartstrings of the viewer, male or female. For the male, it provokes feelings for his own woman in his life. It reminds him of the day he made a promise to the love of his life, reminds him of all the things that keep his universe going: his woman. Since I am a female, I'm going to just ramble on about what this commercial means to me.

Personally when I watch this commercial, I put myself in the woman's shoes. It shows the progression in a relationship: the proposal, the wedding, the family, and just the time in between growing as a couple. I want to be that woman. I want my man to think of me as his universe and look into purchasing a Forevermark diamond merely because a diamond is not just a diamond...I want that promise that comes with the diamond. The male voice featured in the commercial is soft, tender, maybe even somewhat sexy; it works perfectly. He says, "She is the force that holds us all together...She is my everything"...can I get an "awwwww?" Words are golden to women, we want to heart those sweet cliche lines that fill our hearts with happiness...even if we won't admit it. The music may be a little much, but it just gives off the "magical" feeling, that "butterfly" feeling that love gives people.

The whole commercial is cute and sweet, yet mature and classy. All of the emotions and feelings of love are tapped into...it is impossible not to smile while watching it *sigh*. When the time comes, maybe I will be receiving a Forevermark diamond...but until then, I'm sure Forevermark will continue to produce successful, emotion-filled commercials like this one.

Someday my prince will come....with a Forevermark diamond?
